AnritsuMeter Vision
As Leading Company of Temperature Measuring Instruments
Surface temperature measurement forms the technological basis of Anritsu Meter.
And this surface temperature is most closely associated with our lives.
Cold and hot feelings by our hands are also measurement of the surface temperature. Actually, however, the area of the surface temperature has not been established yet.
As opposed to this, the world of internal temperature measurement has prevailed to an extent of almost accepting as common sense that water boils at 100°C and freezes at 0°C.
That is, the freezing point and boiling point of various liquids serve as the fixed points of temperature, based on which traceability has been built.
However, the surface temperature does not have these fixed points.
In other words, the surface temperature cannot be measured and determined whether its measured value is correct.
As the responsibility of a manufacturer having addressed surface temperature measurement ahead of others, Anritsu Meter, aiming to establish a surface temperature evaluation method, finally developed the surface temperature calibrator ACSI system in 1986, which leads the indefinite surface temperature in a traceable manner.
Upgraded to ACSII in 1992, the system further enhanced the sense of fulfillment as a verification standard to grow an only calibrator capable of comprehensively evaluating the surface temperature.
Providing Reliable Control Devices through Advanced Technologies Dedicated to Temperature Measurement
Ever since launching development of thermometers in 1950, Anritsu Meter has entered an extraordinary winding road called temperature and continued to explore its outline.
Anritsu Meter has addressed endless challenges, aiming to comprehensively grasp the temperature, such as invention of ground-breaking contact temperature sensors, attempt to establish the surface temperature, introduction of fluorescent optical fiber thermometer technology and development of non-contact thermometers.
